A Day In the Life of a Biomed Technician

Here are a few words from Daniel Ruiz, and current Try Touch employee:

“My name is Daniel Ruiz. I got started with Try Touch roughly 2 years ago. I saw a job posting for a biomed technician job with training provided on Indeed and I applied. That same day Gary called me and immediately I saw him as a reliable, and dedicated person. Within weeks I was hired and in Long Beach getting trained by Andrew and Hank. After a month of training I passed my skills test and was out in the field getting hands-on experience.”

Here are a few of the devices that Daniel worked on for the day for both preventative and corrective maintenance:

– GE Carescape V100 Vital Signs Machine (Verified different NIBP levels using a Pronk Sim cube.)
– Alaris 8100 Pump (Replaced an upper sensor that was not functioning properly.)
